Collection of materials

If you have missed out collection days there is still time to turn them in! You may come on Tuesday, June 9th-12th from the hours of 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. You will need to turn these materials into the NEW office. Thank you for those who have reached out and asked how they can turn in materials.




You will be able to pick up your yearbooks next week! We will be setting up in front 3rd street entrance (by new parking lot):

  • June 10th 5:00pm-7:00pm

  • June 11th 10am-Noon



7th/8th grade electives

We are busily working on our master schedule. We are receiving requests for students wanting to be a T.A. Teachers have been reaching out to students to be in electives. If your child is contacted by a teacher they need to indicate which elective they would like to have. There are criteria to be a T.A. and spaces will be very limited.

I want to say thank you to all the Students, Staff, Teachers, and Parents. I know that this has been a difficult few months and we appreciate your patience and communication as we worked through distance learning.


I want all of you to know that we have been thinking of all of our students and our families after the tragic event that happened last week. We will continue our work to educate to make sure that all students and parents feel as if they are part of our school and have a voice. Empathy, education, and the ability to listen to each other are imperative in order to get all of our students to feel that they are a part of our community. We are one, we are GEMS!


I hope that you all have a safe and healthy Summer! I will update you periodically about school starting next year as information comes in.

We are here to answer your questions. I want to take some time to let you know where you can go to get your questions answered.  

  1. Questions about your child’s grades or work should go directly to the teacher.  Please do that by emailing your teacher directly.

Messages will be checked between 9:00 and 3:00 Monday through Friday.  All messages pertaining to registration and attendance will be returned within twenty-four hours.


The mainline for general questions will be available from 10:00- 4:00 to talk to a live person on Thursday only. However, if you have questions about attendance and registration, please make sure you call the numbers listed above.
